Pedro Neves is responsible for coordinating and/or collaborating on the implementation of all solutions.
A Portuguese citizen, Pedro Neves was born in Luanda, Angola and has a master’s degree (5-year) in mining engineering and post graduate training in: petroleum engineering, project planning, project management, corporate management, investment analysis, and asset management from Porto University, Imperial College (London), Bouygues Offshore Management Program (Paris), Catholic University (Lisbon) and TCN Academy (Utrecht).
He has 18 years of professional experience in the private sector with 10 years at Bouygues Offshore, rising to position of country manager, 3 years at Somague Internacional where he served as managing director, 3 years at TCN where he was CEO for Portugal and COO for the group and 1 year at AMM as general manager of the holding for international, energy, environment, eco-construction and real estate companies.
He founded Global Solutions in 2010 and is the CEO.
He also has 5 years of experience working in the public sector for such organizations as the Parque Expo group where he was director of business development and established and served on the board of 12 public-private partnerships.
He was a special advisor to the Portuguese Ministry of Cities, Local Development and Regional Development and responsible for developing programs such as: the Administrative City, Old Ghettos New Centralities, Border Cities, the Castle Route.
He has developed projects of up to 5 billion € in such areas as petroleum, energy, utilities, environment, territorial, regional and urban planning, real estate, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance.
Most projects where implemented through Project Finance Initiative solutions, and based on Public Private Partnerships, using syndicates with multilateral financial institutions.
He has been an MBA Professor of Strategy and Business Development at ESAI since 2002 and Scientific Coordinator for the Urban Renewal MBA since 2010 as well as Professor of Urban and Regional Sustainable Development.
He has professional experience in 29 countries: Angola, South Africa, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Greece, Macedonia (FYROM), Kosovo, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Belgium, UK, Ireland, France, Spain, United States, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Portugal.
